AEIP provides online settlement and employment support to clients worldwide, including pre-departure orientation, virtual live and self-directed workshops, employment counseling and foreign credential recognition (FCR) support, and post-landing connections to local settlement organizations in Canada. Services are personalized through one-on-one guidance, tailored assessments, action plans, and interactive workshops, helping you prepare for a smooth transition before arrival.You want to:

- Live Workshops: Pre-departure orientations that include an overview of life in Canada, along with in-depth province- and community-specific workshops on topics such as education, health, housing, transportation, and more.
- Individual and Family Consultation: Personalized support to address both settlement and employment needs.
- Foreign Credential Recognition (FCR): Credential recognition and licensure guidance for regulated professions in Canada.
- Job Search Program: Live discussion sessions and self-study job search videos.
- Resume Screening: Review and feedback on resumes to ensure they meet Canadian standards.
- Meeting with Employer Webinars: Opportunities to connect directly with employers, ask questions, and receive feedback.
- Mentoring: Match clients with professionals in their field to build networks and improve occupational knowledge in the Canadian context.
- Online Job Board: Connect with employment opportunities across Canada.
- Job Matching: Connect clients with employers and job opportunities in their destination province.
- Virtual Job Fair: An annual event that connects clients with Canadian employers and organizations that support their career journey.
- Virtual Newcomers Fair: An annual online event to learn about life in Canada and how to seamlessly settle and integrate.
- Canada Connect: Helps clients strengthen their social network in their destination communities.
- Post-landing Connections in Canada: Connect clients with local Canadian organizations to receive province-specific support.
- Virtual Resource Centre: Available 24/7 and offers one-on-one support, including resources such as short videos and articles.
Eligibility
Approved to come to Canada, received one of the following documents from IRCC:
- An IRCC invitation letter to obtain pre-arrival services
- A Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) letter/document
- A passport request letter that indicates Permanent Resident visa issuance
- An IRCC request that an applicant for permanent residence complete a medical examination (not applicable for Express Entry Applicants)
- A Permanent Resident Visa pick up notification letter
- A Single Entry Permanent Resident visa
- A completed job offer form and confirmation of designation (Atlantic Immigration Program Candidates)
Currently living outside of Canada
Interested in either settlement or employment services support (no language or profession criteria)

Select the AEIP Pre-Arrival Program during your registration. Prepare to have applicable documents ready to upload to your registration.
