Family Registration

Step 1

If you are registering for pre-arrival programs as a spouse or family member, here are some important things to keep in mind:

  1. You can choose your own pre-arrival programs that are available to you (they do not have to be the same programs as the original registration).
  2. You will complete your own registration form and upload your own documents.
  3. Here are your document options for upload:

Option 1: Provide your own immigration document showing your own UCI number, which could be one of the following:

• An IRCC invitation to obtain pre-arrival services
• A Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) letter/document
• A passport request letter that indicates Permanent Resident visa issuance
• An IRCC request that an applicant for permanent residence complete a medical examination
• A Single Entry Permanent Resident Visa
• A Permanent Resident Visa pick-up notification letter

OR

Option 2: Provide screenshots of the principal applicant’s IRCC profile:

The screenshots (which prove your relationship with the principal applicant as well as your immigration status) should show the principal applicant’s name and UCI number as well as your name and your UCI number as a dependent. It does not matter if both of your information is combined in one screenshot or split into two screenshots.
